Working Together for Community Development

Africa Our Home collaborates with local NGOs, development agencies and other local collaborators to explore opportunities that respond to rural communities’ needs and well-being. Approaches are adapted to local context, and work proceeds in partnership with local leaders.

This is not a claim that any particular project is currently active or that participants will deliver services. Activities, roles and opportunities must be discussed and defined with AOH and relevant local collaborators.

Opportunities to Contribute

Individuals, volunteers, interns, educators and institutions may contact AOH to discuss possible contributions to community development and social welfare initiatives.

Opportunities depend on current local arrangements. No specific project or placement is guaranteed to be active, and participant roles and responsibilities must be discussed and defined with AOH and relevant local collaborators. Contacting AOH is an initial inquiry, not confirmation of placement.
